Maine Bankers Sponsors Coats for Kids

MBA Wraps up Coats for Kids.

The BMW Riders of Southern Maine stop by every year to donate coats and toys. Chris Martin of Norway Savings joins them holding the MBA “flag.”

Kati Chandler and Chris Martin of Norway Savings Bank got together with Cindy Williams and Rob Caldwell of WCSH at the MBA table at Pratt Abbott in Portland.

MBA had a great time sponsoring the 2011 Coats for Kids Day and has already committed to being a 2012 sponsor. We’re proud to announce that member banks collected 1,163 coats in their branch lobbies during the month of December, plus a number of new vests, scarves, snow pants, mittens and hats.  The coats will be sent to Pratt Abbott to be cleaned and then distributed next fall by the Salvation Army across the state.  Our thanks to all of our banks who participated.
