The 2011 Directors College on October 21 drew 100 bank directors and senior officers from 18 member banks. Dave Thomas of EPG gave the keynote address, and a full day of workshops for directors designed by and taught by the FDIC ensued. Chris Pinkham of MBA also led a workshop for new directors and another on legislative events, and Paul Driscoll of the FDIC presented an economic update. FDIC’s Glenn Watler also provided an update on his role as ombudsman.
