Maine Bankers Association Sponsors Project Heat

MBA was a sponsor of the Project Heat telethon January 19, which raised $223,550 for the Keep ME Warm Fund.  The Fund is a joint project of the United Way and area CAP agencies providing fuel assistance to families throughout the state.  The total contribution of MBA and its member banks to this fund alone totals $16,000 to date.  Employee volunteers from 13 member banks answered phones during the 14-hour telethon.  Our Facebook page has a photo gallery, and check the WCSH-6 website for their photos from the day.
